Create your own DIY Halloween decorations with this free Halloween bat template. Cut the bats from paper or cardstock to make wall decorations, to hang from the ceiling or walls to give atmosphere to a party or turn them into bunting (just add them to a ribbon or string to create a string of bat shaped garlands).

You will find we have two versions for you. One is simply an outline, so you can use the free printable bat template to cut bat shapes from colored paper, the other features black bats, so you can print these onto white paper and cut the bats from the paper to use.
Tips for Using Free Printable Bat Templates
Add goggle eyes or sticker eyes to give the little bats some personality. Another altenative is to make faces using white acrylic paint (or red for spooky looking eyes). A sprinkling of glitter will catch the light and give your bats some sparkle.
